Mogadishu —Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, the president of the so called “Transitional Federal Government of Somalia” (TFGS/TFG) warned the Presidential Election parliamentary Committee (PEPC) of meeting potential presidential candidates describing the procedure which led to the election of this PEPC committee members as “ILLEGAL PROCCESS”.

“A potential presidential candidate can not appoint members of a committee that suppose to monitor and regulate presidential elections, this is totally illegal and illogical” said President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed.

Although the president hasn’t named the figures meant by his fiery statements, Somali political analysts point their fingers towards the current TFG parliament speaker Sharif Hassan Sheikh Adan who is also the current president’s father in law.

Its worth mentioning that the PEPC members election process was directly influenced by the parliament speaker  Sharif Hassan Sheikh Aden who hand picked the members of this particular committee in a desperate attempt to facilitate his way to become the next president of the oddly formed TFG entity.

The current TFG president Sharif Sheikh Ahmed him self has become President as result of similar parliamentary presidential elections held in Djibouti that was marred by numerous questionable circumstances
